The Fort Dodge Community School District Rachel’s Challenge team invites members of the community to join in creating kindness rocks to be hidden around the community.

“The kindness rocks will spread inspiration and smiles in our community,” said Kim Bodholdt, member of the FDCSD Rachel’s Challenge team. “Our hope is that the kindness rocks unexpectedly brighten the day of those who find them and that they help show kindness is truly contagious and should be passed on.”

The team will be painting rocks outside the main entrance of the district Central Administration Building, 104 S. 17th St., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Individuals wishing to participate may stop by, paint a rock and take it with them to hide in the community for others to find.

To keep the act of kindness going, individuals who find a kindness rock should hide it in another spot for someone else to find.
