St. Edmond M.S. teams compete in quiz bowl
St. Edmond middle school students competed at Middle School Quiz Bowl in Algona May 6.
This was their last quiz bowl of the season. All three teams did well, but one team placed first overall.
The winning team was Brock Stanek, Maggie Lennon, Hallie Ehn and Ben Anderson.
Scott Weimers, St. Edmond middle school teacher, is the coach for the Quiz Bowl teams.
Other middle school quiz bowl members are: Ryan McGonegle, Devon Wirtz, Grant Webster, Joseph Li, Joseph Touney, Thornton Aljets, Isabel Gruver, Maddy Stanek, Drew Stanek, Elly Berry, Sydney Schulte, and Kelli Kersten.
