Samantha Lippens and Tyler Poldervaart

CEDAR RAPIDS — Samantha Lippens and Tyler Poldervaart, both of Cedar Rapids, are engaged.

The couple’s parents are Doug and Heidi Lippens, of Miles, and Steven and Ronica Poldervaart, of Fort Dodge.

The wedding is planned for April 29, 2022.

Lippens is a graduate of Wartburg College and Allen College. She is employed as a nurse at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, Iowa City.

Poldervaart is a graduate of Iowa Central Community College and Mount Mercy University and received a master’s degree from Mount Mercy University. He is employed as an admissions advisor at Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids.
