Where and when can you Trick or Treat?

2018 Trick or Treat schedule

Fort Dodge: 5:30 to 7 p.m., Oct. 31, residential Trick or Treat Night.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Trunk or Treat: 3 to 7 p.m., Oct. 28, at the church, 1436 21st Ave. N. Pumpkin carving contest, 3 to 5 p.m., with hot dogs and chips to follow. Trunks from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be cookie decorating, costumes, hot cocoa, candy and popcorn.

First Covenant Church Trunk or Treat: 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. today at the church, 201 Ave. H.

The Messenger Trick or Treat Costume Contest: 1 to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at The Messenger. Bring your child in costume to have their photo taken for the contest. Age groups: Infant (0-1), Ages 2-3, Ages 4-10.

Crossroads Mall: 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Crossroads Mall. Go from store to store for treats.

Algona: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 31. Algona Citywide Trick or Treat; 5 p.m., Kids Halloween Costume Parade starts at Algona Chamber office and is followed by Trunk or Treat at the United Methodist Church until 7:30 p.m.

Badger: 5-7 p.m., Oct 31, Halloween party at firehouse afterward.

Barnum: 5-7 p.m., Oct. 28.

Emmetsburg: Oct. 31, residential Trick or Treat at homes with porch lights on; Trick or Treat with Willow Ridge and PARC Hall residents in the PARC Hall dining room. Open to the public.

Farnhamville: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 30.

Fonda: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 28, citywide Trick or Treat; 5:30-8 p.m., Trunk or Treat at the park.

Gowrie: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 30.

Harcourt: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 30.

Humboldt: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 31

Lehigh: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 30.

Manson: 6 to 8 p.m., Oct. 30.

Moorland: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 31.

Pocahontas: 5 p.m., Oct. 31, Trunk or Treat, North Main Street.

Rinard: 5 to 7 p.m., Oct. 30.

Rockwell City: 5 to 7 p.m., Oct. 31.

Sac City: 5 to 6:30 p.m., Oct. 27, Sac City Hometown Pride’s Trunk or Treat at Chautauqua Park; treats, decorated trunks, games, photo booth and story teller.

Somers: 5:30 to 7 p.m., Oct. 30.

Vincent: 5-7 p.m., Oct. 31

Webster City: 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 27; Preschool Halloween Party in Fuller Hall Gym; 7:30-10:30 p.m., Oct. 27, Middle School Activity Night at Fuller Hall; 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Oct. 31, participating businesses will have a Trick or Treat poster in their window, Merchant Downtown Trick or Treat; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 31, residential Trick or Treat Night.
