WATERLOO – Cedar Valley Dance, a Chapter of USA Dance, will present the 21st annual Spring Serenade Charity Ball April 9 at Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo.

A waltz workshop will be offered from 3 to 4 p.m. and a cha cha workshop is from 4:15-5:15 p.m. The Ball is from 8 p.m. to midnight. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Music will be provided by the Rod Pierson Seven-Piece Band. Special intermission performances will be by workshop instructors Derrick and Susie Murray, of Dance New York.

The workshops are $20 each or $30 for both; student workshop costs are $5 for each. Advance tickets for the dance are $20, $25 at the door; students can attend for $10. The cost of both workshops and the dance are $40.

A silent auction will benefit the Blackhawk County NAMI.
