Poetry readings at Blanden continue
Monthly public poetry readings will continue with the next session from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S.
The theme for the poems to be presented will be “growth and renewal.” Additionally, selected pieces from the Fort Dodge Writers’ Workshop will be read.
Admission and participation in the event are free. A partnership with the Fort Dodge Public Library, the readings have been called a success and regularly attract an average of 20 people who both read and reflect on the pieces presented each session.
