Federated Garden Club meets Tuesday
“Growing Roses” will be the Fort Dodge Federated Garden Club’s topic for Tuesday. Club members Diane Larson and Yvonne McCormick will present the program. McCormick is a master gardener and Iowa State University horticulturist who has been conducting trials of the Earthkind roses. Buck Roses and Knockout Roses will also be discussed.
The Garden Club will meet Tuesday, 1 p.m., at the Lion’s Den, 731 Exposition Drive. Roll call topic will be “something new I’ll be planting this year.” Visitors are welcome.
