SALT meeting scheduled in Manson
MANSON – The Calhoun County Seniors and Lawmen Together will offer free blood pressure screenings followed by an informational meeting Thursday at Golden Meadows in Manson.
The blood pressure checks will be provided by Calhoun County Public Health beginning at 12:30 p.m.
The meeting and program will begin at 1 p.m. and will include a presentation by Nancy Bruns who served as a nurse/guardian on the May 2013 Brushy Creek Honor Flight for Korean and World War II veterans.
In addition, she will discuss how seniors can help to prevent health care fraud.
