June Harvey

GRIMES — June Harvey, of Grimes, will celebrate her 95th birthday today.

Her family includes Becky Sestina and Dan Harvey. She has four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a great great-grandchild on the way. Her husband, Albert, is deceased.

She was born on June 12, 1926. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1945. She is a 1956 graduate of Fort Dodge Junior College, and a 1963 graduate of Drake University. In her long career as a schoolteacher, she taught at Fort Dodge, Grimes, Des Moines, Saydel, and Johnston schools.
