LOHRVILLE — Bernece Frohling, of Lohrville, will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. July 21 at the Lohrville Emergency Services Building, Lohrville.

Her family includes Deb and Sam Tvrdik, of Gowrie; Janel and Rod Riley, of Cape Fair, Missouri; Steve and Anna Frohling, of St. Charles; and Nick Frohling, of Springbrook. Her husband, Michael Frohling, and daughter, Christine Frohling are deceased.

Bernece Tapper was born July 22, 1929 in Kamrar. She married Michael Frohling on Nov. 24, 1949 in Kamrar. She taught elementary school in Mallard, Twin Rivers, and Lake City. They made their home in Lohrville the past 47 years. He passed away in 1999.
