Sharon and Bill Thompson

SAC CITY — Bill and Sharon Thompson, of Sac City, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary today.

Their family includes Mike and Rachael Kowbel, of Iowa City, and Timothy and Emily Thompson, of Fort Dodge. They have two grandsons.

They were married on June 16, 1979, at the Missionary Alliance Church in Blairsburg.

He farms and works at Olsen-Culp Insurance, and she teaches in local schools.
