LaVon Mason

LaVon Mason, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 85th birthday on Friday.

Her family includes Wayne and Shelly Mason, of Fort Dodge. She has three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren. Her son, Marc Mason, is deceased.

Mason was born on June 21, 1934, in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. She worked for Head Start for 22 years, retiring in 2000.
