CLEAR LAKE — Kirby and Joyce Schmidt, originally of Farmhamville and Somers, celebrated 50 years of marriage on Friday.

They were married on May 24, 1969, in Somers. They made their home in Grundy Center for 40 years and now live in Clear Lake.
