LU VERNE — Bill and Margaret Frideres, of LuVerne, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday. There will be an event in their honor at 5 p.m. on June 8 at the LuVerne Community Center.

They have three children and two grandchildren.

Bill Frideres and Margaret Parker were married on May 30, 1969, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Livermore.
