Lucille Legler

Lucille Legler, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Faith Baptist Church, 1408 N. 22nd St.

Her family includes Dennis and Sharon Legler, of Phoenix, Arizona; John and Teri Legler, of Cedar Rapids; Charles and Barb Legler, of Corwith. Her husband, Raymond, is deceased.

She was born April 11, 1919 in Pocahontas. She married Wilson Raymond Legler and farmed in the Lu Verne area until his death. She owned a beauty salon in Renwick and later moved the salon to her home on the farm.
