Carol Wiley

Carol Wiley, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 85th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Tompkins Celebration Center at Friendship Haven.

Her family includes Bill and Mary Anne Wiley, of Blue Springs, Missouri; and Bob and Ann Wiley, of Johnston. She has four grandchildren. Her husband is deceased.

Carol Ross was raised and graduated at Somers. She graduated from Iowa State Teachers College (now University of Northern Iowa). She taught at Mallard and Cedar Rapids. She married W. James Wiley in 1960. They moved to their farm by Gowrie in 1964. They moved into Gowrie in 1996 and to Fort Dodge in 2011.
