Phyllis Sytsma

HARCOURT — Phyllis Sytsma, of Harcourt, will celebrate her 80th birthday on March 4.

Her family includes Kim and Dan Breen, of Waterville, Ohio; Kris Atkins, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Kevin and Mia Sytsma, of North Las Vegas, Nevada; Karen and Jim Sandberg, of Harcourt; Kendra Sytsma of Smyrna, Tennessee; and Keith and Dena Sytsma, of Harcourt. She has eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, Elvin Sytsma, is deceased.

Sytsma has lived in Harcourt most of her life. She worked as a bookkeeper, child care provider and homemaker.

Phyllis Ehrhardt was born March 4, 1939, in Fort Dodge.
