Ernest Bowman

CLARE — Ernest Bowman, of Clare, will celebrate his 85th birthday on Thursday.

His family includes his wife, Joanne; JoLynn and Stan Greene; Steven and Gail Bowman; Debra and Dan Clinton; Mark and Stephanie Bowman; Brian Bowman; and Robert and Diana Bowman. He has 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Bowman worked as a farmer’s helper and worked for 48 years at Hormel in Fort Dodge and Algona, retiring in 1999.
