Geraldine Balke

Geraldine “Gerry” Balke, of Fort Dodge, is celebrating her 95th bithday on May 28.

Her family includes Larry and Merna Balke, of Boonville, Missouri; Carolyn and Stan Rogers, of Warsaw, Missouri; Cynthia Elliott, of Fort Dodge; Roger and Lucy Balke, of Fort Dodge; and Stan and Francie Balke, of Eugene, Missouri. She has 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Her husband Kenneth is deceased.

Geraldine Bergman was born May 28, 1923, in Cole Camp, Missouri. After raising her children, she worked in the school lunch program at Arey School.
