Police ID 2 women found shot to death
WATERLOO (AP) — Two people found shot to death overnight in Waterloo have been identified, police said.
Officers and medics were called to the home around 11:20 p.m. Monday and found the bodies of Tamica Takeisha Allison, 42, and Andrea Rochelle Anderson, 41, police said. Allison lived in the home where the bodies were found, while Anderson, who is also from Waterloo, was visiting the home, television station KCRG reported.
Police are searching for a suspect, 36-year-old Mathew Dee Buford III, who also lived in the home. Police said they have issued arrest warrants charging Buford with two counts of first-degree murder.
The State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny will perform autopsies on the victims’ bodies.
