The Fort Dodge middle school boys track squads hosted their annual Dodger Relays on Monday.

The FDSH seventh graders placed second as a team, while the eighth graders were third.

In the seventh grade competition, Damarious Knight-Clark won the 100-meter dash (13.67), while Carter Anderson took the 400-meter dash (1:06.00).

Ty Adams was the gold medalist in the 100-meter hurdles (19.38). The Dodgers also took the 4×200 relay (1:54.97) and 4×800 (11:05.55).

Clark was a runner-up in the 200-meter dash (27.33), as was Bo Cowell in the 800-meter run (2:44.58) and Jordan Cerwick in the 100 hurdles (19.82) and Gavin Doebel in the 1600-meter run (6:01.19).

The Eagle Grove seventh graders took the distance medley in 4:51.01. Eagle Jake Jeske was victorious in the discus (96-8).

On the eighth grade side, Dodger Ryan Madden earned a victory in the 800-meter run (2:26.17) and 1600-meter run (5:23.39). Javion Jondle took the high jump crown (5-3).

Jondle was second in the 100 (13.00), as was Landon Meyer in the 400 (59.80) and Riley Edwards in the 800 (2:30.10).

Madden was a silver medalist in the high jump (5-2). Fort Dodge was also a runner-up in both the 4×100 (52.50) and 4×200 (2:05.31).

Eagle Grove’s Jack Mendoza captured the shot put championship (38-8), with teammate Damon Richter placing second (38-7).

The Fort Dodge teams run next Monday at Indianola.
