The undisputed state champion Fort Dodge wrestling team will be together again at The Messenger’s Home and Lifestyle Show on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The Dodgers are making a special appearance to meet fans for an autograph and picture session. The event is also promoting the release of The Messenger’s limited edition 40-page commemorative magazine — a tribute to the program’s 2017-18 title campaign.

The team’s championship trophies and banners will be on display, as well as framed copies of Messenger sports sections from the Dodgers’ run to glory. Four-time gold medalist Brody Teske will be in attendance, as will fellow senior state champ Drew Bennett, runner-ups Cayd Lara and Drake Ayala, and the rest of the FDSH squad.

The magazine is a comprehensive overview of the season, which saw the Dodgers capture their first traditional state championship since 1985 and their first state duals tournament crown ever. It is $5 to purchase while supplies last at Hy-Vee, Fareway, The Messenger, and at the Home and Lifestyle Show this weekend.

The Messenger is donating a portion of the proceeds from magazine sales to the Fort Dodge Senior High Booster Club.

The Messenger’s Home and Lifestyle Show is at Iowa Central’s east campus, located at 2031 Quail Ave. in Fort Dodge.
