MASON CITY — The 10th-ranked Iowa Central wrestling team cruised to a 38-6 victory over NIACC on Wednesday.

The Tritons won eight of the 10 matches, earning bonus points in seven of the eight victories.

Todd Small (133) earned a 20-8 major decision over Arie Reyes.

Yar Aldiva (141) followed that up with a fall and Eric Larke earned a technical fall (19-2) at 149 pounds.

Ethan Karsten won a tight 8-7 decision at 157 pounds for the Tritons.

Fort Dodge graduate Jonah Egli shut out NIACC’s Zach Wagenhoffer 10-0 to earn a major decision.

Brady Vogel pinned Jaylen Lee in 59 seconds at 184 and Tyree Sutton earned a 13-2 major decision at 197 points.

Iowa Central is back in action on Saturday when they head to the UNI Open in Cedar Falls.
