Jaguars roll on the road

SHENANDOAH – Southeast Valley stayed in the chase for a playoff spot, knocking off Shenandoah, 40-12, on Friday night.

The Jaguars (5-2 overall, 4-1 district), who had 503 yards of total offense, are still tied with South Central Calhoun for second place.

Nolan Brand led the air attack with 257 yards on 16-for-31 and two scores. He threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Swieter and a 10-yard strike to Dakota Jaeschke.

Jaeschke had eight catches for 125 yards and the score. Nolan Johnson grabbed three balls for 68 yards.

Kaleb Jondle carried the ball 24 times for 118 yards and three scores. He scored from one, seven and 10 yards out.

Aaron Swieter added 10 carries for 93 yards and a one-yard touchdown run.
