Thanks to a built-in Cost Of Living adjustment in my retirement pay, I am making a bit more than last year. But the COL annually raises my retirement by anywhere from 2.5 to 3.2 percent while cost of living actually goes up around 5 percent each year, and my medical insurance goes up as well each year, I'm actually losing ground each year. And while losing ground, as far as buying power is conerned, my income tax keeps going up as well. So I'm making more this year than last, but able to buy less.
