CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — A 17-year-old has been arrested in Cedar Rapids after police say he was uncooperative during a shooting investigation.

Police say officers encountered the teen Friday morning as they investigated the sound of several gunshot rounds in a neighborhood. The teen had exited a house near another residence where an officer had investigated a bullet hole in a kitchen window.

Police say the teen was uncooperative and became combative. They did not elaborate.

The shooting investigation is ongoing. Authorities say damage has been found at other properties, but no injuries have been reported.
