WEBSTER CITY - The No. 8 (Class 2A) St. Edmond baseball team earned a 5-2 victory over Webster City here Wednesday night.
Hank Crimmins had nine strikeouts on the mound, allowing just one earned run. Jason Setterdahl had two RBI and Colin Flattery two hits.
"Hank was able to hit his spots and really get us out of a few jams with his strikeouts," SEHS head coach Joe Shanks said. "Our defense didn't make the routine plays for him, and we need to shore that up."

"It was good to see some of our younger hitters get some confidence at the plate," Shanks said. "Hopefully we can continue to get on track with our bats."
Robert Flattery and Fear each drove in a run.
