Tim Hanneman, longtime Fort Dodge resident, has joined the engineering staff of Hagie Manufacturing Co., in Clarion, as an engineering technical writer.
In his new position, he will be responsible for the development of a new library of service manuals for the extensive line of Hagie agricultural equipment.
Hanneman, 2012 retiree of The Boeing Co. and a 1968 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High, was employed by various small manufacturing concerns in and around Fort Dodge until joining Rockwell International in Cedar Rapids in1979.
That affiliation eventually took him all around the United States, holding positions of increasing technical and managerial positions on both Rockwell and Boeing high-profile projects such as Space Shuttle main engine, the International Space Station, the V-22 Osprey and various fighter jets including F/A-18 and F-15.
Since retiring and moving back to Fort Dodge, Hanneman has been associated with Flagge & Sons auto restoration, and is active in community singing organizations including church choir, the Sonshine Singers and the Fort Dodge Choral Society.
