The Fort Dodge girls tennis team cruised to a 10-1 victory over Marshalltown on Monday at Dodger Courts.
Kari Grindberg, Emily Knight, Ayenna Cagaanan, Gretta Leigh and Allison Birnbaum each collected singles triumphs for the Dodgers.
In doubles competition, the duos of Grindberg and Knight, Cagaanan and Birnbaum, Leigh and Jamie Haden, Elizabeth Thomas and Kelsey Albrecht and Taylor Shirbroun and Emma Bruen all prevailed for FDSH.
"We did exactly what we needed to do (Monday)," said Fort Dodge head coach Karine Feddersen. "After the unfortunate weather we had the last week disrupting meets and practices I was glad to see the girls start the week strong. Taylor and Emma showed that they are improving as a No. 5 doubles team.
"After a bit of a slow start they were able to read their opponents and make the necessary adjustments to pull off a win."
Junior varsity winners for the Dodgers were Anna Bruen, Erika Farr, Noelle Barber, Mackenzie Elsbecker, McKinna Teske, Elli Russell, Cate Hatton, Brianna Barkema, Michael Hiracheta and Taylor Pingle.
Next meet for Fort Dodge is tonight at Mason City. Start time is set for 4 p.m.
