The Iowa Central softball team swept Southwestern on Friday night to move their win streak to six games.
The Tritons (32-9 overall) won 10-4 and pulled out a 7-6 victory in the nightcap.
"It was the end of a long week for us,'' said Iowa Central head coach Josh Sandin. "We played eight games this week and were slower than usual.
"To win two games was big for us.''
In the first contest Fort Dodge graduate Haley Rustvold, Allie Ingalls, Casey Huff and Taylor Barnett had two hits each.
Nicole Dobernecker and Huff drove in two runs each.

Sammie Hildreth, Huff, and Dobernecker each had home runs.
In the second contest Southwestern built a 4-2 lead before the Tritons scored four in the fifth and sixth to hold on for the win.
Emilee Dorpinghaus and Rustvold had two hits each for the Tritons.
Hildreth had a homerun and drove in two runs as did Dobernecker.
The Tritons are back in action on Sunday when they host Iowa Lakes at 1 p.m.
