"Attracting Birds, Bees and Butterflies to the Garden" is the topic of a workshop to be held at the Webster County ISU Extension office at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Those attending the program will learn how to design a garden with those plants and flowers that will not only brighten the landscape, but are also suitable for attracting birds, bees and butterflies to yards.
ISU Extension Horticulturist Yvonne McCormick will present tips and techniques for growing flowers and suggest cultivars suitable for Iowa gardens. Master Gardeners will be on hand to help answer growing questions.
Call the Webster County ISU Extension Office, 576-2119, for more information or to register for this program.
