Fort Dodge Community School District sports physicals for students grades 7 through 12 will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. March 13 in the Fort Dodge Senior High gymnasium.
All student athletes are encouraged to attend. A physical needs to be current and on file in the nurse's office prior to the first day of practice of the athlete's sport season. Seniors out for spring/summer sports must have a physical that stays current through the end of their season.
The cost is $15.
Height, weight and blood pressure checks will be done during lunch time or after school in the nurse's office at FDSH on March 10 and 11. All athletes will receive their physical form at that time. The form must be filled out and signed by a parent and brought with the athlete in order to receive their physical on March 13.
Fort Dodge Middle School students will have height, weight and blood pressure checks during lunch on March 12.
Any doctor wishing to help with the physicals, or parents who have questions or need additional information, can contact Matt Elsbecker, FDCSD activities director, at 574-5754, or Carol Mann, activities secretary, at 574-5826.
