Information sought in Ruthven burglary
RUTHVEN - The Palo Alto County sheriff's office is asking for assistance in identifying the suspect in a burglary in Ruthven early Sunday morning.
Deputies began investigating the incident on Sunday.
According to a statement from the sheriff's office, at least one person broke into Lakeland between 12 a.m. and 4:50 a.m. by breaking the south window of the business.
Once inside, the suspect stole "several cartons of cigarettes, several packs of beer and several food items," according to the sheriff's office.
Investigators aren't sure how many suspects were involved in the burglary.
