The Fort Dodge bowling teams will host a Class 2A regional tournament today at Ridgewood Lanes.
Both the boys and girls will be in action, starting at 1 p.m.
Joining the Dodgers will be Mason City, Sioux City East, Sioux City North and Sioux City West.
The Dodger girls enter the tournament with the fifth best match score average (2,687) and fifth best individual average (180.1).
Senior Michaela Spaulding enters the meet as the scoring leader for the Dodgers with a 191 average and a 383 series average.
Sophomore Shelby Jacobson (181 avg.) and 362 series average is also a top threat for the Dodgers.
Senior Allison Birnbaum carries a 180 average, along with a 360 series set.
Mason City senior Rebecca Broermann leads the state with a 218 game average and a 436 series average.
The Fort Dodge boys enter with a 3,057 match score average and a 208 individual average.
Junior Drew Hansen is the Dodger leader with a 225.5 game average to go along with a 451 series set.
Classmate Alex Markov carries a 219 game total and a 439 series mark.
Junior Chase Messerly is averaging 213 and 426 series.
