Backs the ‘Golden Rule’

To the editor:

"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."

Prehistoric relationships were developed within the early tribes to establish peace. It still makes sense today, but apparently too many people today have not been exposed to this truth. Maybe the phrase should be printed in every church bulletin and hopefully in our newspapers and many non-porno magazines. If people thought about this relationship and exercised it maybe we could/would have better news on TV and in our print media.

"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" can be found in the book of Leviticus 17:18 as well as Matthew 22:39, Mark 12:31 and several other places in the Bible. The concept fits all religions and groups but it is a voluntary relationship. Respect for one another cannot be forced.

So here is my challenge: let's see this "Golden Rule" pointed and published and made visible to all who wish to have a better world in which to live.
