Mental illness explored at Lifetree Cafe

The mysteries and meaning of mental illness will be explored at Lifetree Cafe locations on Tuesday at noon and 7 p.m. at the Fort Dodge Lifetree Cafe,18 S. Third St.

The program, titled "Mysteries of Mental Illness: One Woman's Struggle to Regain Her Life," features a film of Karen McCracken. McCracken, author of "Breaking Free From OCD," describes her life as she experienced mental illness and what proved helpful in her struggle to manage her illness.

Admission is free and snacks and beverages are available.
