Tellinghuisen leads Raiders

MANSON - Reed Tellinghuisen paced East Sac County as they toppled Manson Northwest Webster on Tuesday night.

The Raider senior had 27 points for the Raiders (2-0 overall). Tyler Jacobsen and Shawn Freier had 13 each for the Raiders.

Cal Twait led the Cougars (3-1) with 20 points. Hudson Spedding (11) and Collin Christensen (10) also reached double figures.

Indians topple Eagles

POCAHONTAS - Freshman Austin Roetman had a huge night for Pocahontas Area as they cruised to a 71-30 victory over Southeast Webster-Grand on Tuesday night.

Roetman turned in a double-double with 24 points and 19 rebounds. Dominic Johnson had 14 and Tanner Youngberg added 12.

Cade King had 13 and Curt Castenson added 10 for the Eagles.

ALGONA - The Algona boys basketball team defeated Clarion-Goldfield 73-56 on Tuesday night.

Trevor Loeschen led the Bulldogs (3-0 overall) with 17 points. Justin Raymond (15), Luke Terhark 914) and Landon Rash (10) also reached double figures.

Chris Staudt had 15 for the Cowboys and Cody Kapka added 11.

Titan boys win again

ROCKWELL CITY - The South Central Calhoun boys stayed unbeaten with a 66-49 triumph over Prairie Valley on Tuesday.

Ryan Daisy netted a game-high 26 points for the Titans (3-0 overall), while Jace Neubaum added nine.

For the Warriors, Dakota Jaeschke finished with 12 points.

WEST BEND - The West Bend-Mallard boys dropped a 60-51 decision to Harris-Lake Park on Tuesday night.

Jason Zinnel led the Wolverines (3-2 overall) with 17 points. Cole Banwart added 16.

Brady Van Iperen had 19 for Harris-Lake Park.

NEWELL - The top-ranked (Class 1A) Newell-Fonda boys had no trouble with Laurens-Marathon Tuesday night, cruising to a 65-41 victory.

Dillon Anderson led the way for the Mustangs (3-0 overall) with 13 points, while Mason Scheidegger chipped in 12.

For the Chargers, Tyler Stumbo scored a game-high 25 points.
