CHARLIE FISHER

December 10, 2013
Messenger News

Sunday December 8th Charlie surprised his family once again. He passed away just the same way as he lived his life, in a quite unexpected way. Charlie was born January 28, 1971 to David and Dea Fisher. He attended Humboldt and Fort Dodge schools graduating in 1989 from FDSH. He went on to get a degree in computers from ICCC. Charlie worked at Was Broken Pallets until his death. But these are just the facts about his life. He was a quiet man who seemed predictable but never was.

Charlie spent much of his time on those daily things. Working, giving rides to coworkers and spending time with his cat, Silver. He looked forward to games and traveled to Ames several times a year to play. He looked forward to family gatherings for the food almost as much as the chance to play some kind of game. He always carried bags of the most cerebral games he would try to entice other to play with him. The most recent one he got the family "hooked" on was Pandemic.

Charlie leaves his parents, David and Dea Fisher, His sisters, Serena (Sean) Witzke and Hope (Curtis) Hartig. The saddest and most heart breaking is the Niece, Jordan, and nephews, Brandon, Shane, Zach, Brock, Toxie and Korbin, he left behind. Kids gravitated to Charlie as he was a big kid himself never quite growing up. We are all devastated by his unexpected departure but comforted that he was so loved and now is with his beloved Aunt Carroll Fisher and Grandparents that have gone on to heaven before.
