EAGLE GROVE - Investigators with the Eagle Grove Police Department are seeking information on an armed robbery that happened at a convenience store early Saturday evening.

The robbery happened around 7:13 p.m. at the Kum & Go, 1120 S Commercial Ave.

According to a statement from the department, a masked man walked into the store with a semiautomatic-style pistol and pointed it at the clerk. He demanded money from the register.

After putting the money inside of a black bag with green handles, the suspect fled the scene. Nobody was hurt during the incident.

It was not clear how much money had been taken from the Kum & Go.

Investigators described the suspect as a 5-foot-10-inch man who was wearing a camouflage bandanna over his face. He was also wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with "white script style lettering" on the front and back of it, as well as tan welding gloves, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information on the Eagle Grove Kum & Go robbery is asked to call the Eagle Grove Police Department at 448-4793.
