The Webster County Board of Supervisors Tuesday authorized transfers Tuesday from its Local Option Sales and Service Tax revenue.
The board approved transferring $533,388 from fund 0052, LOSST special revenue, to fund 2000, debt service, for its fiscal year 2013-14 general obligation bond payments.
"This is to pay our payment on the LEC (Law Enforcement Center) renovations," Supervisor Clark Fletcher said.
Supervisors also authorized a transfer from fund 0052 to fund 001, general basic, in the amount of $175,000 per fiscal year 2013-14 budget.
"The $100,000, this is the last payment on the trail obligation the county has," Fletcher said. "And $75,000 is ... for paying for structural repairs at the Wahkonsa Building."
For the Wahkonsa building structural repair project, the board approved signing a change order from $374 to $42,839. The building is a former school located at 330 First Ave N.
The board unanimously approved the motion without comments.
After, supervisors authorized the board chair to sign a certificate of substantial completion of the Wahkonsa repair project.
Supervisors also reviewed proposals for painting stairwells at the Social Services building, also at 330 First Ave. N.
According to Fletcher, two bids were received, one for $10,220 and one for $7,000.
Supervisor Merrill Leffler suggested tabling the item for one week, since the companies seemed unclear about the details of the project.
"I don't believe they're bidding the same things," he said.
Supervisor Mark Campbell made the motion to table the item, which was approved unanimously.
