Berry Edmond Fox, 65, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Fremont, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at his sister's home in Fort Dodge. Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. A time of gathering for family and friends, will be an hour before the service at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.
Berry is survived by his son, Cody of Fremont, Nebraska; his longtime companion Darcy Dobberstine of Fremont; his faithful companion dog, Missy; and his sisters and a brother, Judy Buchanan of Sacramento, California, Jeannie (Don) Richie of Pioneer, California, Joyce Campbell of Fort Dodge, Janey (Pat) Brennan Webster City, Brian Fox of Redding, California, and Joan Drake of Fort Dodge.
Berry Edmond Fox, the son of Ed and Elnor (Nickless) Fox was born November 22, 1947 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He attended Fort Dodge Schools and in 1989 moved to Fremont, Nebraska. Berry worked construction in Fremont and that is where he met Darcy. Their son, Cody, was born in 1991. Due to his illness, Berry moved back to Fort Dodge in May of 2013 to live with his sister Joyce Campbell.
