Fort Dodge's first junior golf championship took place at the Country Club on Tuesday, with champions crowned in two divisions.
The event, sponsored by Carpet World Flooring America, drew players in the 13-14 and 15-18 age brackets.
St. Edmond senior-to-be Eddie Doyle, age 17, fired a two-under par 69 to claim top honors in the older boys' age group. Sixteen-year-old Gael teammates Michael Faiferlick and Robert Flattery tied for runner-up honors at 77; Faiferlick won a playoff to secure second place.
