To the editor:
I attended the Honor Flight on May 11 - what an enjoyable flight. At first I wouldn't go. Thought it would be too long a day. Boy did it go fast. What I would have missed if it hadn't been for Leroy Guderion and Ron Newsum. What good talkers. I'm so glad I have such good friends. Leroy and I were the last two officers on the Post No. 4 AMVETS. Now it's sold and the money was donated to Brushy Creek, the next Honor Flight, Veterans Park, Beacon of Hope for Men and many more. I've never seen such good organization in my life. All the volunteers need a big hand. Can't forget Chuck Gerard, my guardian. I try to forget World War II, but I'll never forget the Honor Flight.
