A fire was reported at Bemrich Electric, 110 S. 21st St. at 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Fort Dodge Fire Department units arrived and found the north wing of the building fully engulfed with fire. Heavy smoke and embers were carried into the area north of the structure, but the Fire Department was able to contain the fire to this structure. The building had suffered severe damage at an earlier burglary and fire on June 21. Fire crews were on the scene until 6:30 a.m. Six additional firefighters were called back to duty. No injuries were reported, and the fire is under investigation by Fort Dodge Fire Department and Fort Dodge Police Department. Gregory White and Tanner King were charged with arson in connection with the first fire. White’s trial is scheduled for July 27; King has not yet made a plea in the case.
