Terry Allers was installed on the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Board of Directors at its 94th annual meting. Allers will represent the council's Mid-Central States Conference (Region 4), comprised of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
Since 2006, Allers has served on multiple NCARB committees. He also previously served as the Region 4 vice chair and secretary/treasurer and was a member of the NAAB/NCARB Accreditation Team Pool.
Allers is founder and president of Allers Associated Architects, P.C., a full-service architectural firm in Fort Dodge, serving Iowa and Minnesota. He has been an active volunteer in the Fort Dodge community and in 2012, he was recognized by the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance as the Catalyst award winner. Allers received his bachelor of architecture degree from Iowa State University in 1970, has been an NCARB certificate holder since 1974 and is licensed in Iowa and Minnesota.
