NEWS: Calvin Berte, of Livermore, was an intern in the law firm of Peterson and Lipps in Algona.

SPORTS: A total of 12 races were held at the Hamilton County Speedway due to the previous week's races being suspended because of bad weather, finishing at about 2 a.m.
