DES MOINES - Competing inside Principal Park, the St. Edmond baseball team dropped a 4-1 decision to Twin Cedars Wednesday afternoon.
Tommy Setterdahl plated the lone run for the Gaels (3-1 overall) with an RBI double in the top of the fourth inning.
Hank Crimmins (double) and Ryan Szalat (single) delivered the only other SEHS hits. The Gaels fanned 13 times against Saber pitchers Otis Roby and Coy Moore.
"The story of the game was their pitchers spotted the ball well and overpowered us," said St. Edmond head coach Joe Shanks. "(Twin Cedars) had the best pitching we've seen this year. (Roby and Moore) could both be successful pitching in (the North Central Conference)."
Defensively, Crimmins also made a pair of sparkling catches in right field.
"We had a couple of costly errors, but Hank made two really good sliding catches down the right field line," Shanks said.

Starter Jason Setterdahl (0-1) took the loss for the Gaels.
"Jason threw well and only walked one and struck out two," said Shanks. "He competed and went right after them."
Brent Parker tallied two hits for the Sabers (5-0), including a double. Collin Still added a two-bagger of his own.
Through five games this year, Twin Cedars has now outscored its opponents by a combined margin of 51-6.
Despite suffering their first setback of the season, St. Edmond enjoyed another experience inside the home of the Triple-A Iowa Cubs.
"Principal Park is a pretty place," Shanks said. "They treat you great here. You get all true hops, and there's not a bad bounce in the park."
SEHS returns to action tonight at West Bend-Mallard. First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m.
