DAYTON - The father of a Dayton girl missing since May 20 said Sunday that he's overwhelmed by the support of the community.

Mike Shepard said his heart goes out to the family of Michael Klunder, the man alleged to have abducted his daughter.

"My heart goes out to the Klunder family. They had nothing to do with it," he said.

Authorities are continuing the search today. Anyone with information is asked to call the Webster County Sheriff's Office at 573-1410.
