Two men suspected of leading Fort Dodge police on a chase through town Tuesday have been linked to a bank robbery and school threat in Kossuth County.
Stoney R. Gifford, 24, and Seth W. Garrett, 27, are expected to be charged with terrorism and two counts of second-degree robbery in Kossuth County, according to a press release from the Kossuth County Sheriff's Office.
Gifford and Garrett have already been charged with first-degree theft - possession of stolen property and carrying weapons in Webster County. The two are accused of fleeing Fort Dodge Police after an officer tried to pull them over.
Police said the suspects at one point jumped into the Des Moines River to try and avoid getting arrested.
They are being held in the Webster County Jail on bond.
