Iowa Central men fall short in OT

CRESTON - The Iowa Central men's basketball team dropped a 60-54 overtime contest to Southwestern on Saturday.

The Tritons (17-13 overall, 7-7 ICCAC) couldn't find an answer for the Spartans (15-14, 7-7), as they trailed 26-20 at halftime.

Jesse Jones led the Tritons with 13 points. David Andersen had 12 points and Jawad Adekoya added 10 points.

Iowa Central is back in action on Tuesday when they head back to Creston to face Southwestern in the regional tournament. The fifth-seeded Tritons will tip at 7 p.m. against the fourth-seeded Spartans.
